Christmas is over. We had a good time. My cousins from Maryland came to stay in Fountain Hills and came to visit me once while they were here. Meagan was happy to see me and said, "Wow, my only first cousin!" Poor thing. I have 11 first cousins. But then, again, I've only met Meagan and Kelly. So if you've never met 9 of your 11 cousins, do you only really have 2 cousins? If a tree falls in the woods...how does that go?
Anyway, Mom and me (oops, no, Me and Mom, no that's not right either, Mom and I) we went to the dog park down the street. She says I need practice not pulling on my leash if I'm going to be a therapy dog. So she parked in the lot and I got out and ran fast to the gate! That was a mistake. Apparently, what she meant was, I was to practice walking slowly and calmly to the gate where all the dogs were waiting. Does she realize how hard that is? My friends are waiting. But she put me back in the car! I was devastated. Were we going back home? Without going to play with my friends?
She just waited by the door and then opened it again and said, let's try again. Get out of the car and sit. So I did. Then she told me to heel. And I did. For three steps. Then my friends were calling me and I rushed to the gate. Ouch! That hurt my neck. And back I went in the car. This is no fun. We waited again, and again she let me out to sit. Once more she told me to heel. OK, I get it. I calmly walked toward the gate with mom and she gave me a treat and let me in. Why didn't she say that's what she wanted in the first place? I would have done it. (Or maybe not.)
I ran into the park and met all sorts of dog sizes. But the funnest one looked just like the cows we see back in St. Louis.
I went up and asked him if he came from St. Louis, but he said something about being Danish. We played some, and then I asked mom. She said he was a Great Dane. Is that some sort of royalty? Anyway, we had fun together.
I played with all the dogs, but there was one that kept bugging Mom, 'cuz she had treats in her pocket. He was funny and wouldn't leave her alone.
So she kissed him on the nose and we went on home. Mom doesn't like to give dogs treats at the dog park unless their owner says they can. And she doesn't give me treats when she can't give other dogs treats. I think that's fair. I got a treat in the car.
It was another good day at the dog park. And I met a Great Dane. I hope I meet him again.
Hope your week after Christmas is fun and peaceful and full of friends.

All I want for Christmas
Mom bought me a new Frisbee the other day. Just like the one Ozzie has. It's orange and blue and flies like a bird. And it's mostly chew-proof. (Which Mom likes). I love it, love it, love it!
So today, we took my frisbee to the little park up the street. There we met a new dog (well he's really an old dog), Max. Max is 12 years old and blind and deaf. I tried to get him to play with me and my frisbee anyway. It was too hard for him. But Max's mom really wanted to play, so I let her throw me the frisbee and we played tug-o-war and lots of stuff. I think her name was Vera. Vera just loved throwing me the frisbee (tho' she wasn't very good at it.)
I was a little worried that Max might be jealous, but he was rolling on the grass and my mom was rubbing his belly. He looked pretty happy.
While we were playing, Vera told us her son wanted a puppy, just like me. (Well she didn't say, "just like me", but I assume that's what she meant.) But she said her son lived in a small apartment and it wouldn't be fair to a dog to have to live there.
I guess she doesn't know what it's like for dogs in the rescue kennels. They live in tiny little cages and there's no one to love them like my Dad and Mom. Sure the volunteers come and give them walks sometimes, but it's not the same as having your own family. I don't think it's fair to leave those dogs in the kennels. If her son wants a dog, he should get one. His dog will love being in a small apartment a whole lot more than being in the kennel. I know!
So I decided that that's what I want for Christmas--For all my doggie friends (and I guess Kitty friends, even though I don't have any kitty friends), to have a real home where they have someone to love them and play with them and take them for walks. That would make me very happy.
If you know someone who wants a dog, but thinks it wouldn't be fair to live in a small house or where they have to go to work during the day, tell them my friends don't mind. They would like just to have a home and family and someone to play frisbee with them. You can send them this blog and tell them Guinness says so!
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Joyous Kwanzaa and a Super Solstice ('cuz that's what today is!) and Happy Holidays to all.

Guinness Goes Shopping
Fetching the paper in the morning is not my only job. I try to be as helpful as I can around the house and outside of the house, too. Especially this time of year, which as you know, is when Santa comes and gives presents to all us good puppies.
So yesterday, when Mom said she needed to go shopping, I offered to go. It was the least I could do. Specially since she wanted to get a leash and treats for me. So off we went to Pets Mart.
Pets Mart is my favorite store. (Sometimes we go to Home Depot, but there isn't much in there that interests me.) Pets Mart has loads of fun things on the shelves and in cages and stuff.

Like this one. It had cats in it. Well, until I got there. Then the cats ran under the boxes and disappeared. For some reason, cats don't like me.
We wandered down some aisles looking for a leash for me, but I got sidetracked. There was an aisle full of wonderful Christmas toys.
But then she let me pick out some treats. There were soooooo many, it was really hard to decide.
I finally found what I wanted, and we found a nice leash. And I was ready to go.
And do you know why I like this store best of all stores? 'Cuz at the counter they always give me a treat. Of course, that's my just due for helping Mom do all her shopping. Don't you agree?
If you need help shopping for your pets, please call me. I'm in the business!

You Never Know
I like to explore. Just go places I've never been before and see what they have to offer. Mom sometimes lets me do that. We'll go for a walk and she'll let me pick the route. What she says is, "Guinness, when you come to a fork in the path, just take it!" So I do.
The other day, we went up towards Market Street, where we go a lot. But when we came to the fork in the road, she stopped and let me pick the way. I went left ('cuz we usually go right), just to see what was there.
Soon, we came to a neighborhood I had never seen before. And it had one of those green spots where I can roll in the grass and scratch my back. But before we got to the green spot something really fun happened. A huge white dog came bounding from around the corner. He didn't have a leash. Mom said we should just stay still and she was sure his owner would appear soon. So I stood where I was and the white dog came and said hello. And just like Mom said, a few seconds later a guy came around the corner and called said, "Well there you are Nigel, hold on, my wife is coming right behind."
But he didn't put Nigel on a leash, like I was. And he and Mom talked awhile and when his wife came around the corner, he said, "Would it be OK for Nigel and Guinness to play in our green spot?" I looked at Mom and I tried to tell her to say yes. I would really like to play with Nigel in his green spot. I stared really hard at her to make her understand that I really wanted to play with Nigel. And it worked! She said yes.
So Nigel and I played.
He wasn't a lot of fun at first. But then Mom pulled out my Frisbee. I had to teach Nigel how to play with it, 'cuz he didn't know,
but soon he was doing tug-o-war with me just like Izzy! We played for an hour!
Nigel's Dad said that I was really good with Nigel. He said that not many dogs could play with Nigel like I do. He even told Mom that if she and Dad wanted to go away for a few days, that he would love to take care of me and I could stay with Nigel. I think that would be really fun. Some day I'm going to go to Nigel's house and stay. Just wait.
See what fun things you can find when you just go with it?
Try it for me!

HOPE YOU HAD A HAPPY TURKEY DAY!
(By the way. If you are looking at this in an email and you can't see the videos, here's what to do: You need to go to my blog on the internet and view it from there. Just click here on this: www.guinnesstherescuedog.blogspot.com)
Now for my story.
I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I did. I was thankful that it wasn't like my last year's Thanksgiving. Do you remember that one? I ate a golf glove and was sick for two days!
Today I am giving thanks for a lot of things: my mom and dad, my friends (even my javelina and bobcat and coyote friends) and all of you.
And I'm thankful for doggie beds and comfy sofas and cushy pillows. (I don't eat them anymore.)
I'm thankful for delicious dog food and doggie treats and food that falls on the floor in the kitchen.
What I didn't give thanks for was the Thanksgiving paper. Do you know how big that thing is? Just watch this video!

(The reason the video cuts out before I get the paper in the house, is that mom had to come rescue it, because it was falling out of the bag. I don't think that was my fault. Who needs all of that paper anyway. Does anyone actually read all those extra ads? )
I much prefer getting the paper on a regular day. Then the paper is a reasonable size. Like in this video!
That's what I get paid to do!
Anyway, hope your Thanksgiving was full of good food and fun!

Is my face red!
Well, not really. My face couldn't get red. But I was embarrassed last week. So my face FELT red, even if it really wasn't.
What happened? My friend Brutus came over to play with me at our private park. But in case you don't remember, I said his name was Buster, not Brutus. And he read my blog! So he knew I got his name wrong. But did he get mad at me? No. Brutus is really nice. In fact he's much more polite than my friend Ozzie. Brutus is kinda like me. But that's not always good when we play together.
I tried getting Brutus to play tug-o-war with my Kong Frizbee. I offered him the Frizbee a bunch of times. I even asked him to play with me and my frizbee.
But Brutus wouldn't take the Frizbee from me or even try tug-o-war. He thought if I had the frizbee, then I he wouldn't try to take it from me. Doesn't he know that's the game? I guess not.
I tried everything I could think of. I showed him how much fun the frizbee was to play with....
He didn't really know what to think of my games, I think.
But we played regular games, too. Like wrestling. And running after a ball. He really, really likes to catch balls. Lots more than I do. But I played along with him and ran after his balls, too. I thought maybe then he would play with my frizbee. But the only time he played with my frizbee, was when I was playing with his ball. Then he figured I didn't want my frizbee so he could play with it. Isn't that so polite of him?

But then, he mostly just stepped on the frizbee. I don't think he has a frizbee to play with at his house.
We had lots of fun. And then we both got pretty tired and had to take a break. Brutus was more tired than I was I think. Look at his tongue hanging out. And that was after we both had a drink of water!
I told Brutus I was really sorry I got his name wrong, but I hoped he would come again and play. He is really, really nice. He said not to worry, we could still be friends and he would love to come over and play with me again.
I hope you don't ever forget anyone's name. But if you do, I hope they are as nice about it as Brutus was to me. He's a good friend.

I GOT MY OZZIE BACK!
But yesterday, Mom invited her friend Ellen to come over and bring Ozzie to play in the park. Buster was maybe going to come too, but he couldn't make it. I can't wait to see Buster, too. Buster is a German Shepherd, like me, but waaayyyy bigger. Oh, wait. I'm supposed to be talking about Ozzie.
So Mom and me went to the park. We sat and watched kids play basketball. I didn't know why we would do that. I mean, I love to watch kids do almost anything, but I couldn't remember ever sitting with Mom to watch them play basketball. But I was fascinated.
Suddenly, I heard a car drive in behind us. My "Greeting" instincts kicked in and I turned to go greet the newcomers. I KNEW that car. It was my Ozzie's car. Well not really. It really is his mom's car, but he was in it. I just knew it.
I ran to the door to help Ellen (not my Mom, Ellen, but Mom's friend, Ellen) get out of the car. Then I ran to the back 'cuz I knew Ozzie sits in the trunk and he was there! Oh, joy.
He jumped out and we immediately jumped up and down on each other. Mom pulled me away, and said we had to wait till we got to the grass before we could wrestle. So I raced down the path and told Ozzie to follow and I dragged mom towards the grass. I could not wait to play with Ozzie.

Do you like my new BIG friend?
We're really back in Arizona. I'm getting back into the routine. Sleep on the bed with Mom and Dad at night. Wrestle with them on the bed till someone gets up and gets me my breakfast. Take a loooooong walk all around Desert Camp Road. Then Mom and Dad have breakfast (and Mom sneaks me a squirt of whipped cream when she makes a bowl of fruit for Dad.) Then I'm ready for a nap with Dad.
Mom says, when I take a nap, sometimes I move like I'm running in my sleep. And she may be right. 'Cuz today I was napping and I was dreaming about Boots. Who is Boots? Didn't I tell you about Boots? I can't believe it. Boots is so cool.
Well let me tell you about Boots. Boots is actually back in St. Louis. He came to my new Dog Park near the school. (Where Cider the mean dog doesn't come.) Mom said Boots should have been named Beethoven. I don't know why. He looks like Boots to me. See, here is Boots.
You can see why they call him Boots. He is so pretty with those white boots. He has white on his chest just like me. And he was so very nice to me.
I introduced him to my funny pool. He really liked it.
Then we ran and played and ran some more. (That's probably what I was doing in my sleep when my legs were moving in my nap.)
I told him to come back again when I come back to Clayton. We could be really good friends.
Anyway, that's Boots. You can see why I dreamt I was running with him. It was a good dream. I have lots of good dreams.
Hope you have the best dreams!
Love, G

...oh, Whew! They're NOT trying to leave me!
If you remember, in my last blog post, I was really worried that Mom and Dad were going on another long vacation and leaving me. I was glued to my little doggie bed which Mom had put in the kitchen and I thought she was going to send me and the doggie bed away.
That night, we all went to bed and I worried all night. I got up off the bed during the night and wandered around the bedroom. Were Mom and Dad going to go away? What was going on? I didn't know. Mom was up and around, too. What was she doing? Was she worried, too? Then Dad was up too. They were up too early. My stomach hadn't started growling yet, but WOW! I was getting breakfast WAY before the sun was up. This couldn't be all bad.
Soon we were putting things on the elevator and sending them down to the basement. The car was full of stuff. All the stuff that had been stored in the back room! It was all in the car. This must be it. They were ready to put all the stuff and me in the car and go away.
Wait. That's not how it happened when they went to Scotland. Then they sent their stuff down to the basement and then gave me a few pats and left. This is different. I AM going with them. I'm getting in the back seat and my doggie bed is coming with us and we are all going! Oh, joy, Oh, joy!
Soon we were on our way. And this time, I knew we would go by the turn for the Dog Park. Not like the last time when I thought they had missed the turn. I know now. We're on our way back to Scottsdale and my friends back there. And we are all going together.
I could finally relax, knowing the we were all going to be together. And I knew this was going to be a long, long trip. I remember it from last year. I may as well settle in on my pillow and make the most of it.

Along the way, I could see Dad needed my advice on where we were going, so I got up and gave him my ideas.
I'm sure he appreciated it. I like to make his life easier.
We rode for 11 or more hours, and I was getting hungry and tired. We saw a Billboard that advertised just what I was looking for. Lots and lots of food.
And, it didn't cost anything. I told Dad to stop so we could get the 72 oz Steak. And we did stop. But he didn't get the steak. I got my usual dinner. Which I really appreciated by then. We stayed at another La Quinta Hotel - like the last time we went to Scottsdale. And this time I went right to sleep. I wasn't worried anymore. I knew where we were going.
And the next day, I spent most of my day protecting the food box in the back seat. I wanted to be sure it was there when we got to Scottsdale.
And we finally made it back. I'm really glad to be back here and looking forward to seeing my old friends.
But I'm 'specially glad that Mom and Dad weren't thinking about leaving me. I think they really need me around. And I'm happy to help them.
Talk to you soon. I've some sleep to catch up on.
Love, G.
PS It's really nice here in Scottsdale. We're going for a long walk tomorrow.

I'm Really Nervous!
Things have been going on here at the house that I just don't like. Mom and Dad have been putting lots and lots of clothes and their toys and stuff in the back bedroom. (That's where I usually go to watch out the back window so I can see all the things going on in Clayton. Dad says I go there to "watch TV". Uh,oh, I'm digressing again. Sorry.)
Anyway, as I was saying, they have golf clubs and cameras in the back room. And lots and lots of clothes. These are the same things they packed when they left me for three whole weeks last June. They told me they were going and would be back, but I didn't believe them. I didn't believe that they would leave me. And when they did. I didn't believe they were coming back. But they did, but it was a long long time. I had fun with Kelley but I missed my Mom and Dad.
This time they keep telling me not to worry. I am going too. Going where? I can't play golf. Why would they take me too? I don't believe them. I think they are going away, and this time it's for a REALLLLLLLY long time. They just don't want me to worry. That's what it is!
But tonight, Mom put my doggie bed in the kitchen. They're going to send me somewhere else, while they go away! They can't do that. I won't go. I'm going to sit on my doggie bed so they can't move it. That's what I'll do.

OK, Mom, just try to get this bed out of the house. I'm not budging. And if I don't budge, then you can't send my bed away, and you can't leave me again.
But what does my mom do? She just laughs at me and takes pictures. Doesn't she know I really mean it? This bed is going nowhere. I don't care what she does, I can stay here all day and all night. And I will. Take that, Mom & Dad. Now you can't go anywhere either.
Please send an email and tell my mom and dad not to go away from me again,

The Decision
Thanks to all of you who voted for my picture. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view) it was a really close call. If we discount 5 of Aunt Joycie's votes (she voted 6 times, one for each of her family members), then there were two votes for Pictures 1,2,4,5, and 6 and 5 for picture 3. AND, a lot of you said to make a collage 'cuz you couldn't really pick the best. I get that. I'm so photogenic it IS hard to pick out my best shot. So I told Mom what she should do is to do one big picture of #3 (so I can have a puppy picture that fits in with my brother's pictures) and then do a collage of all of my good pics.
She thought that was a good idea and she ran a few collages with Microsoft Auto Collage. We picked out a good one:
But I told her she should get one of those frames that separate the pictures. I think she'll probably do that.
It's been a very stressfull two weeks trying to decide the best pictures to depict my very special personality. But now that we have it done, I'm ready to move on to my next adventures.
Thank you for your help. I'll be back with new adventures next week!
All my love, G

Help Us Decide
My Mom has framed pictures in her office of all of her puppy dogs 'cept me. I asked her why. 'Specially since I was voted cutest dog in the Post Dispatch contest last year. (Well, 3rd cutest dog, anyway.) But I think I should have a puppy picture in a frame just like Brandy, and Hercules and Caesar.
So Mom and me, (oops, I mean Mom and I) picked out a few pictures to blow up and put in a frame. But I can't decide. Can you help me?
#1 This is one of my littlest ones. I sorta remember that fluffy toy. I think I had it for about two days before there was nothing left. And this picture is even before I ate the rug! That's how I know it was right after I came to Clayton. Mom bought the rug so I would have something comfy to sleep on when the sun shone through the kitchen door. I pretty much destroyed the rug in the first few days.

#2 I'm pretty cute in this one, too, don't you think? But Mom could have done the shadows better. I think this was before she took those camera lessons. I tried working my magic with my Corel Paintshop Pro, but I couldn't save it. But I'm still a cutie, don't you think?
#3 Oh, look at this handsome fellow. I like this one, 'cuz it shows my serious side. My brother Hercules has a picture like this - waxing philosophical, Mom calls it. I have no idea what that means. But it sounds cool.
#4 Didn't want you to think I'm serious all the time. I like to make people laugh and you shoulda seen Mom and Dad when I did this for them. It's probably not the right picture for a framed picture. But I like it. This one is more like my brother Caesar. He was the mischievous one. I like being like all my brothers.
#5 In this one I was 6 1/2 months old. I think Mom really likes this one. She has it on her iphone and shows it to people when they show her pictures of their kids and grandkids. I dunno. I'm pretty handsome in this one too. Just getting pretty old by now.
#6 And then there's my famous picture, the one that won the contest (OK, the one that came in third.). I kinda like this one 'cuz you can see hot fit and trim I am. And I am sooo be-u-tee-ful here don't you think?
I would really appreciate if you could help me decide which picture we should frame. Mom's retired now and I don't think she should be spending a lot of money on pictures of me, so we need to choose just one. But I don't know which to choose. You can just reply to this email. I know it says, "no reply" somewhere up top there, but Aunt Annie replies all the time. And I write back to her.
I look forward to your vote! All my love, G

Sometimes, You Gotta Do What You Gotta Do
A couple of days ago, me and Mom (she would tell me, that's wrong, it's not "me & Mom", 'cuz "me" isn't a subject, but it should be "Mom & I", Mom REALLY hates when people use the wrong pronouns. Like, "Her and her husband went to the ballgame." She says it sounds like nails across a chalkboard; If you said, "her went to the ballgame" you'd know it's just not right and sounds like someone with no education, so....uh, oh...I'm digressing again. Sorry. I'll stop.
Any way, WE (that's the right pronoun), went to the Dog Park. It was a little later than we usually go and I didn't know the dogs well. Cider was there. I met him with Auntie Annie. He's not real nice. And Cookie was there. Cookie and her human are really nice, but when Cider is there, they go to the far end of the Park. When I came in, Cider was really mean. (He can be really mean, although the last time we were there with Cider, when he was mean, I could run to the pool and get in it. The pool was safe. Cider knew the pool was safe and he just sat outside the pool until I jumped out and ran.) But this time, he wouldn't let me get to the pool. He growled and barked and bared his teeth at me.
I could see Mom was a little scared. She got between me and Cider and I was ascared that Cider might bite her. She tried to make him be good, but he got worse and I was really ascared for her. So finally, I went to the gate and said, "Mom, lets go. I don't want Cider to bite you." And she agreed with me, and told Cider's human that we were leaving. I think she was mad at Cider's human.
I was disappointed, 'cuz I like playing at the Dog Park. But I told Mom we should go to a place we had seen on one of our walks. It's a fenced in park by an old abandoned school. And we saw people playing with dogs there. So I suggested we go there.
And we did. It was a pretty park. It had fences all around. And a funny little river with water. Almost like my swimmiIng pools at the dog park. It was pretty neat.

I played by myself for a little while, but then, more dogs came! Really fun dogs. Two labradors and they seemed to really like me too.
We introduced ourselves. And then I showed them my favorite game. They liked playing tug-a-war with my frizbee, just like me!
So, good things come when you take good care of your human. I think Mom really liked this new place I took her to. And, these new friends aren't going to bite her. So all's well that ends well. Like I said, Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. (Take that Cider!)
Love ya, G.

I Thought I was a Big Dog, but...
Saturday we did something really different. It was a surprise for me. At least I think it was. Anyway, I was surprised.
Mom and Dad had their walking shoes on, so I thought we were going down Pershing or Forsyth, like we sometimes do. But instead we got in the car. Maybe the Dog Park? I was excited. Dad hardly ever goes with us to the Dog Park. But no. We took a left out of the driveway. The Dog Park is right.
We went on the road we usually walk when we do Pershing. But we were in the car. Weird. Where were we going?
Finally, we parked next to a huge Park. It was waaayyy bigger than my dog park. And all the dogs were on leashes. Mom and Dad made me keep my leash on, too. But we started walking and there were soooo many new smells and soooo many dogs and people to see. It was really interesting.
We walked and walked and walked. Till we had walked a lot farther than I had ever walked before. But I was doing really good. Mom said so. I think that means I didn't jump at EVERY dog that went by. (Just the really cute ones.)
But then. You wouldn't believe the dogs I saw. They were huge. Really huge. I have never seen dogs so big. And they weren't on leashes, but they were trapped behind big fences. I was hypnotized just watching them.
Where do they grow puppies that big? Are they dangerous? I kept as far away as I could.
It's good to explore your world. You can find so many fun and exciting things out there. I hope I can find more fun things like super big dogs called horses.
Love, G.

Mom said they were horses. I never heard of dogs called horses. But they were really cool. Maybe if I took some growth hormones, could I get to be as big as they are? Then I wouldn't have to duck and dodge with Luca. I could just sit on him. Hee, hee. That would be sooooooo much fun! It's good to explore your world. Curiouser & Curiouser
Mom had a birthday recently. (Shall I tell you how old she is? No, probably not. Number 1: She probably wouldn't like me squealing, and Number 2: It probably constitutes digressing and as you know I'm supposed to not do that anymore.)
Anyway, my Grandma sent her a birthday present. She seemed really pleased with it. But I had a hard time with it. You see it was these three little boxes. What would you do with three little boxes? I know what I would do with three little boxes. I would eat them! That's what I would do!
Apparently that wasn't the right answer, 'cuz Mom shooed me away when I tried to eat them. She said they were Music Boxes. Hmmm. She did something to the back of one of them, and what do ya know? Music came from it.
I tried to sing with it. But Dad told me to quit. I don't know why. He can't sing any better than me. But I did.

What fun is a Music Box if you can't eat it and you can't sing with it? You tell me. So I just gave up. Mom can have her old Birthday present. I sure don't want it! Grandma, if you give me a birthday present, can it please be something I can eat? Thanks. I would like that.

What an exciting Labor Day Weekend!
I have to apologize. I'm very late this week. But I've had a very, very busy week. I've just now had a chance to sit down and write this blog.
You're wondering what a puppy dog could be so busy at, I'll bet. But here's what happened. Mom and Dad left to go to a wedding in Connecticut. They even went to see my grandma in Connecticut. I've never met my grandma in Connecticut. I hope I get to see her sometime. Uh, oh, I'm digressing again. Sorry.
I was busy over Labor Day weekend for a lot of reasons. First, my Auntie Annie came out to take care of me while the parents were in Connecticut. I'd never met my Auntie Annie before. Mom and I wanted her to have a good time here, so we asked my very dear Auntie Debbie to help too. And she set up a meeting with the Humane Society for Auntie Annie. You see both of them volunteer for the Humane Society to take care of stray dogs just like me. Only, Auntie Debbie does it here in St. Louis and Auntie Annie does it in South Carolina. It's really good of both of them. But Auntie Debbie took my Auntie Annie to the Humane Society in St. Louis so she could compare it to the one she has in South Carolina. Then, they did something really really fun. They took me with them to Happy Hour!
Here we are at WheelHouse for Happy Hour. I've never been to the Wheelhouse before. It was really great. They got something called Hummus and Chips. I got a bunch of the chips! I loved it. No wonder they call it Happy Hour. I was very, very Happy!
And Auntie Debbie took really good care of my Auntie Annie. I liked that. She's a really good Auntie!
Then it was Auntie Annie and me by ourselves. She needed some training, it was clear. My Mom had taken her to my Dog Park, so she knew where it was. But I had to tell her when we had to go. Like one day, she got on the phone with Mom. I wanted to go to the Dog Park. So I gave her the Evil Eye!

If you have Aunties, you should really be good to them. 'Cuz you know what? They are really good to you if you are good to them. I especially like that Auntie Debbie helped my Auntie Annie. It's nice to know that your Aunties are all out for you! You can't lose that way!
So, from me to you: Take care of your Aunties. And they will take care of you. (And of each other.)
Love G.
