Curiouser & Curiouser

Mom had a birthday recently.  (Shall I tell you how old she is?  No, probably not.  Number 1: She probably wouldn't like me squealing, and Number 2:  It probably constitutes digressing and as you know I'm supposed to not do that anymore.)

Anyway, my Grandma sent her a birthday present.  She seemed really pleased with it.  But I had a hard time with it.  You see it was these three little boxes.  What would you do with three little boxes?  I know what I would do with three little boxes.  I would eat them!  That's what I would do!

Apparently that wasn't the right answer, 'cuz Mom shooed me away when I tried to eat them.  She said they were Music Boxes.  Hmmm.  She did something to the back of one of them, and what do ya know?  Music came from it.

I tried to sing with it.  But Dad told me to quit.  I don't know why.  He can't sing any better than me.  But I did.

What fun is a Music Box if you can't eat it and you can't sing with it?  You tell me.  So I just gave up.  Mom can have her old Birthday present.  I sure don't want it!  Grandma, if you give me a birthday present, can it please be something I can eat?  Thanks.  I would like that.

Love, G.
