One day we had rain and the golf course was rained out. Dad stayed home even though he was supposed to play golf. Mom didn't like that much, but she did like this:
Then another day, we went for a long walk. We were still a half a mile from home when it started to thunder and lightning and then it rained. You know how much I don't like thunder! Well if you don't, let me tell you: I DON'T LIKE THUNDER!!!!!) So I started dragging Dad home just as fast as we could go. But it wasn't working very well. Dad kept pulling on my leash. We finally got to a shelter at the Rec Center. (Well it was a roof on the rec center, next to the window where people were on bicycles and exercise machines. Mom waived at them and we sat under the roof while it thundered and rained.
I was still ascared of the thunder so I hid under Dad.
But then, it started doing something really nasty. It hailed on us. It looked like snow. Snow in Scottsdale in February? Wowser!!
Is this what they call climate change?
I hope we get our old weather back soon. I don't like this stuff (especially when it comes with thunder.
Hope you're having good weather wherever you are.
Love, G
