The pools are up at the park! Wait till my Arizona friends see this! Our Arizona park is shady and grassy, but it doesn't have a pool. The best pool in Arizona is at Always Unleashed and that was a GREAT pool. You could really swim in that pool.
The pools at my Clayton Dog Park are not like the one at Always Unleashed. But they're still pretty neat. I like to jump around in them.
I always invite all my friends to come in with me, but sometimes, they're ascared to do it. See, I didn't just jump in when I was a young pup, either. In fact, Mom thought I would never get in the pool. But one day, a really fun Australian Shepard puppy bounced in and made it look like so much fun that I just jumped in with him. And I've been jumping in ever since. But I won't sit in the pool. I don't like to get my butt wet. I always try to get the others to see how much fun it is, though. There is room for two of us in each of those pools!
And you should see this pool. It's in a gravel frame shaped like a doggie bone! Imagine that. Someone thought to make it really fun for us puppies by making it look like a doggie bone. I just love it. I mean if there was anything any better than a pool, then it would have to be a doggie bone!
Jumping around in the pool always makes us thirsty. So then we all to to the water cooler. I've heard that humans use water coolers to get together to talk and gossip. We doggies use the water cooler to drink water. What else is a water cooler for?
Sometimes it looks like nobody is going to get a drink 'cuz everybody wants one at once. But my friends at the park are really good about sharing. There's always spots for thirsty dogs. And I make sure of that! I'll step away to let a little dog get a drink if it gets too crowded. You have to be polite at the dog park or other dogs won't like you.
After that, it's time to veg out.
Yes, the Dog Park is really fun when the pool is open. You should come!
Hope you have a cool place to play when it's hot out.
Love,
G
